Hey guys, this is mostly for video gamers, but if the rest of you wanna read this, be my guest. If you haven't heard, or if you have, Square Enix and Microsoft announced at E3 that Final Fantasy 13, the most popular RPG and a Sony game in general is jumpin' to the XBox 360. And as a Final Fantasy Fan and an owner of a PS3, I am really fuckin' pissed off because that means that I bought a fuckin' PS3 for no fuckin' reason. Now if you become outraged at what I say and you own a PS3, I encourage you and your friends to send emails to Square Enix and tell them that you feel this way. I already have, but as you know, you can't accomplish anythin' with just one voice.
OMFG! You can't be seriouse that's the whole fuckin' reason why I would've bought a PS3, is for FF13. I'd be pissed also or I am now at least. Why couldn't the fuckers stick to the Playstaion 3 as planned before.
As a PS3 owner I'm not bothered about this news but I can entirely understand why you'd be quite so annoyed. While the PS3 is a superb machine, Sony seem to be unable or unwilling to secure the kind of titles and deals that would give them the edge in the high-end market. Since before the console was launched they've changed features, content and even entire titles and if the news about Final Fantasy 13 is true, they're going to lose a whole load of face (and actual or potential custom). All they need to do now is announce that Gran Turismo HD is being delayed til 2010 and they may as well start planning the PS3's funeral lol
Wikipedia is not always the most reliable but they usually get their video games facts right. FF 13 is going to be for xbox and ps3 so there isn't any need to wory about it.
Just a follw up on my last post. www.finalfantasyxiii.us also states it is for both systems.
When were those messages posted? That might change. You probably saw that FF13 is gonna be for PS3 in Japan, that's what all the websites say that I go into.
According to ign.com there will be a release in north america on both the XBOX and PS3. The ps3 version comes out in Japan first but will also be released in america and worldwide. I found this by searching for final fantasy XIII on ps3.ign.com and reading the E3 covarage.
